Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist opening in West Palm Beach, FL – full or part-time

Physician-led Mental Health Group that provides care in a multitude of settings including treatment at hospitals, residential treatment facilities, schools, nursing homes, adult congregate living facilities, and partial hospitalization programs is seeking BE/BC Geriatric Psychiatrists to join its inpatient team.
Schedule: full or part-time with a minimum of 3 days per week, including 2 weekends days/month.
This is a physician led practice with innovative approaches to maximizing your time for actual patient treatment. Therefore, you personally are not being inundated with the administrative responsibilities associated with today’s health care system.
Overall responsibilities will include:
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations
- Establishing diagnoses, prescribing medication, and providing therapy
- Daily care of patients in PHP/IOP
- Collaborating with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses and psychiatrists
