Inpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist opening in Fort Lauderdale, FL – great support & flexibility

Seeking BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in Fort Lauderdale, FL for inpatient unit.
- Currently handling the census at the site of about 40 patients, with one psychiatrist and one nurse practitioner managing that.
- The role can be just in the C&A unit or the whole hospital either with another psychiatrist or with a midlevel, with additional work at other sites, whether it’s outpatient or at another facility that would include all ages.
- Telephonic call may be one day per week but the facility may want to staff with an overnight NP, which would reduce that greatly or more than likely, completely.
- Full time is Monday-Friday plus 2 weekend days per month.
- Hospital is open 365 days per year but, we do have a team of providers who are working and cover one another on site. We are expecting to have a total of 4-5 providers in the mix when census is at capacity.
