Seeking a full-time BC/BE faculty physician specializing in Infectious Disease. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that blends academic medicine with clinical practice across Dayton and the surrounding region.
As a faculty member, you will:
- Play an integral role in educating and training medical students, residents, and fellows, while providing care to a diverse patient population in a variety of clinical settings.
- Contribute to improving patient outcomes, advancing clinical innovation, and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Participate in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and academic leadership.
- Contribute to the Department’s clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions.
- Participate in clinical teaching, supervision, and patient care on the division’s services, including a combination of contributions to the inpatient teaching service; working with a large outpatient HIV population, other infectious diseases including but not limited to:
- Antibiotic therapy supervision
- Complicated wound care
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C
- Chronic urinary tract infections
- HIV
- Lyme Disease
- Regular outpatient clinical practice.
- APP collaboration for both Inpatient and Outpatient clinical practice.
