Seeking Emergency Medicine NP/PA to join team in SW MN. As a private, county-owned facility, employees are able to do more for public health in the community. We pride ourselves on giving back time and resources to Murray County and its people. Facilities include a MN certified health care home, level IV trauma facility and acute stroke ready hospital.
Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- MN PA/NP license.
- ANA certification or certification from the commission on certification of PA.
- One or more years’ related experience.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS),
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life
- Support (BLS) required.
- Continued education annually for state licensure and maintenance of certification.
The Community:
Southwestern Minnesota is prairie country, and Murray County is right in the heart of the prairie. Not far from the Banks of Plum Creek and the site of Laura Ingalls’ recollections, Murray County could have been used as a filming location for Little House on the Prairie. There are 7 lakes in the county and plenty of outdoor recreation activities such as hunting, fishing, birding, parks, trails and boating.
Other area amenities include a vineyard, golf clubs, marina, Murray County Fair. Area schools are highly rated and include both public and private.
